Every once in a while, I need to satisfy my “granny square”-kick ……
I never-ever tire of this relatively old and simple crochet pattern, and I absolutely love how adaptable they are – be it traditional, or more diverse, intricate even.
There’s granny square inspiration all around us; for instance the fast growing collection on my Granny Squares Pinterest-board, or a google search for “crochet granny square” – just one click of your mouse, and you can feast your eyes on this…… ah….. the beauty!
How about maybe the bèst of all: this Instagram-hashtag “granny squares rock”: they really do, don’t they?
More granny square magnificence is to be found in this week’s “Treasury Tuesday” – aren’t these blankets all gorgeous?
My heart rate goes up a bit when looking at these two:
Are you a lover of granny squares as well?
Have a great week,
love,
Marianne xx
