Summertime

It’s been a while since my last blog post, I guess summer stepped in the way!

Over the past few weeks we’ve been camping in the South of France and enjoying weeks of lovely warm and sunny weather at home. Thís is so my kind of season ……
Oh, yes, I like winter nights too, when we cozy up in front of the fireplace (crochet, book, magazine, coffee and/or wine right next to me), but these weeks filled with sunshine, gorgeous flowers everywhere, lazy meals outside ….. just terrific! A lot of crochet was done also (as you can see in the 1st photo), but not a whole lot reached a finishing stage, so I have barely any “ta-dah’s” to share right now.

A “ta-dah” of all sorts was my Instagram account hitting 6000 followers: wow!
The “6000” was crocheted as a token of my appreciation.
I kept up with the weekly granny squares from Simply Crochet Magazine and crocheted a LOT of colorful hearts for the Bétaille Throw – substantial progress was made. So this post is all about some snippets of my summer so far ……
