“Traveler’s Notebook”

maRRose - CCC --- Misc and De Hallen Amsterdam-55Correct me if I’m wrong, but you’ve surely all been to a buffet before.
The question is: have you ever been to a paper buffet?
Today I had the privilege to do just that, choosing from a wealth of gorgeous paper, that was to go in my very own spiral bound notebook – and I can assure you this buffet was pretty darn delicious (as well as good for the waist line)!

Personally, I love notebooks – and own quite a lot of them. They’re all put to good use – you know, I’m at a stage in my life that I really need to write things down, otherwise I forget…..
maRRose - CCC --- Miscellaneous-Misc -Traveler's Notebook-41So you can imagine my enthusiasm when I received an invitation to attend the special “Traveler’s Company Caravan Event” that the wonderful Amsterdam based store “Miscellaneous” hosted this weekend.
maRRose - CCC --- Miscellaneous-Misc -Traveler's Notebook-45 maRRose - CCC --- Miscellaneous-Misc -Traveler's Notebook-44It meant I could hand pick both cover, contents and spiral ring, thus assembling my own very unique spiral bound notebook. One of the craftsmen of the “Traveler’s Company”‘s creative team bound my one of a kind notebook right there and then – really so much fun to watch.
maRRose - CCC --- Miscellaneous-Misc -Traveler's Notebook-43Very happy to add this special notebook to my collection ……
maRRose - CCC --- Traveler's Notebook-10And browsing the gorgeous store while I was there, was not exactly a burden either; “Miscellaneous” truly lives up to the statement on their website: “Refined goods for the home and desk”.

All in all an unexpected well spent and definitely fun Saturday afternoon!

  3. What a wonderful few hours! Really like your notebook and the whole concept of creating your very own. I thought the wooden King Kong was kind of cute. And that yarn! Thanks for sharing your wonderful outing.
